We are on a walk around Puntous

Flopsy, a hairy hound and Milou are on the loose

Peter, a good friend, is showing us around

a pretty circuit with views to surround

we walked to an ancient railway and what is left of the tunnel

once a pretty line now all of a wild jungle

I went crazy with my mate Daisy

my mistress was working under a hedge

weeding, pruning and cutting to the edge

we had a long sunny day

knocking each other about.... but only in play

We saw three fishermen all in a row

no rod or line, just a sharp beak and being in the know

there was also a night heron on the other side

of which recognition, i take great pride

I worked in Thermes, hard today

while Daisy and Milou frolicked and played

a hedge that like Heligan that i am uncovering

more and more roses,  shrubs that i am discovering

We were up in the mountains for Marc's birthday

the sky was azure blue

we had a picnic next to church and castle, with the most spectacular view

next a brand new spa, with many beautiful pools

vallee de luron, amongst many in the Hautes Pyrenees, hidden jewels

The sun was radiant on the church this morning

I got out of bed early still yawning

Milou, Marc and i did the loop around Larroque

the mountains, bird life were all out to be seen,

the lake itself was again picturesque and serene

We heard of a vide grenier on a rather grand scale

by nine we had set out along the trail

we stopped for Milou to stretch about halfway

pretty scenery with boules of hay

the vide was brilliant, as well as a lot of other things to do and see

all in all an enjoyable day
