Milou has injured her right back paw, on yesterdays walk

i know not what she has done, she would tell me if only she could talk

i examine her toes, nails and pads, for any signs or clues

she still seems happy to bound about as she has three others she can choose

Unfortunately, maybe fortunately, tonight i do not have a lot to say

we have new friends over, jolly good company and a night of play

but it is very late and my mind is a bit of a fog

so if you'll excuse me ...that will be all for today's blog

I enjoyed a mornings work with a really good friend

their garden is really quite big for one of them to tend

Milou had again to wait

she is patient, and tomorrow, an early walk we will not be late

This afternoon we made a scarecrow with Raoul and Izzy 

a bundle of straw some old jeans, a shirt and we all got busy

it is a first for Milou, and many years for me

good fun, Milou got to explore new ground, collarless and free

Milou is very patient, she has a long wait today

with gardening and french, this morning getting in the way

she is so excited when we finally leave

having thought she has done wrong, it appears a magical reprieve

i have a friend to meet at four

i am late and Milou and i race for the door!

A warm sunny afternoon and it seems there is a very giant screen

 no longer an outline or hazy shadow of a mountain to be seen

the grondin are jumping high out of the lac

and landing sideways with a resounding smack

we meet some friends and their half husky Verlaine

we exchange words and greetings, and are off on our journey again

We spent the morning at a vide-grenier, some would say car boot

Not much fun for Milou as she was dragged stall to stall on foot

after a lunchtime drink with friends sat out in the sun

it was pretty late when we left for the fields beyond the cemetery, to have a proper run
