Milou and i had a very late walk

she had been naughty so we did not talk

it is lovely to have some heat

when it is this beautiful, miles of undulating countryside

i think it is very hard to beat

It's Friday again, time for Milou to run with her very good buddy

enough rain in the gullies for them to end up extremely muddy

Taj likes a dip in the lake right up to his tummy

considering he does not like water, Jan finds it absolutely funny

Today is beautiful, no more can i sit on the bench

round the lac with Do, Milou, Pom-pom we are all speaking french

Do is helping with my confidence to try to talk and chat

at the moment we keep it simple and i am very happy with that

It was as forecast, chilly the skies a murky grey

non-stop rain and drizzle for the best part of the day

the gascon noir are huddled for warmth 

under the umbrella of a massive oak

if the heavens open again, they surely will not get a soak?

This afternoon is humid and really quite warm

hope it is not the eye of a storm

I have some lovely gardens to mow

but the drying up process has some time to go 

It was hazy and warm

for this month usually the norm

there are many interesting, insects, flora and fauna around our lac

apart from the amazing scenery, i always want to come back

Milou has been up to her old chewing tricks

some times not easy to replace, or just chewed beyond the fix

what goes on in her furry dog brain

knowing that it will turn her loved one, owner insane?
