It  is very very late again 

before i pick up my keyboard pen

Milou has walked from monleon and up

nobody insight this morning just us and the pup 

it is early that Milou and  i take our post

we have decided on an hour earlier

so that the dogs do not roast

i really love my friday walk

as before the dogs run and we just talk

Marc, Milou and I are early to the lac today

we do the short track along our usual way

later on she gets a second walk

Marc and i meander, it's good, to just talk

Milou, Marc and I took off for the lac

we saw a shrike, halfway along the track

it is great to get together and walk

gives us time to reflect and talk

it is especially important on any ventures new

to express our feelings about what we have done, or are about to do

Milou had the run of the lake

in the morning before the sun did bake

a lovely afternoon by a pool

by early evening a thunderstorm and cool

a lovely walk through the woods

a bit shorter, cooler

for Milou's sake, she understood

it was pretty dappled with magnificent light

and not a soul in sight

Milou, Marc and i are walking the Monleon ridge

lovely views of the spectacular countryside

children and adults follow a trail, on horse and pony ride

tonight is wild and windy and kicking up a storm

but tomorrow is sunny, this time of the year a guaranteed norm
