The tractor was ploughing and churning up the earth

the kites were circling above to find out what it was worth

Milou, Pom- pom and I continued our walk

while the birds from above continued to stalk

It is friday of which Milou and I, are a very big fan

Taj and Milou make a fuss of each other while i talk with Jan

it is every friday, only once a week

but in friendship with each other we all do seek

We met our friends in the car park alongside the lake

it was decided on which way around, and the route we take

Milou was happy to be out and free

with Alice and pom pom, she can be her and just be

Small rectangles in different shades of green

different types of grass, 

this formation we have not seen

there is always something new in the fields

it will be interesting to see what this particular crop does yield

A veil of fine mist hangs in the air

it is hot and clingy, Milou scampers around, without a care

the grass and wildflowers are now up to my waist

however the paths have been trimmed for Saturdays race

The sky was a beautiful shade of blue

and the mountains were all crystal clear and in full view

the contrast from the mountains, the now green countryside

is a picture for every inspired painter

for Milou and i, it is a complete no brainer

This morning was beautifully warm and hazy

after walking around a vide this morning, we both felt a little lazy

Milou got a proper walk around about eight

it was a bit cooler albeit a tad late
