il est encore en retard je suis désolé 

jusqu'à ce que nous nous revoyions

We have not seen Taj or Jan for a week or three

i have been ill or one another has not been free

good to see them charge about

a true friendship that one or the other cannot flout

I watch the egrets in and out of the weeds

also the herons, there are three different breeds

at least four purple herons around our lake

most take off in elegant flight, leaving Milou in their wake

Milou and i set off at quite pace

although it is not a race

a start in fitness after a problematic back

after today, i can report, it's right on track

the village is now peaceful after three days of the fete

the weather is sunny albeit a little bit wet

Marc, Milou and i went for an early morning ramble

wooded lanes fields of flowers, a pretty spectacle along our amble

Milou was happy to be at both our sides

protecting her flock, even though their thinking might actually divide!

Back on track today and feeling good

too not traverse the lac would be ever so rude!

but things never go quite according to plan

Milou had to wait again, but eventually she ran

A beautiful day in the mountains, for Milou Marc and I

rolling landscapes with a beautiful bright cobalt sky

the view is so incredible it never seems to end

fields, villages far beyond an intelligible horizon then all begins to blend
