I am happier now and not out of sorts

it is quiet, Milou and i contemplate our separate thoughts

lots of butterflies from peacocks to marbled white

sometimes a long stroll, can really set things to right

The last few days, i  am not at ease

Milou senses this, she is doing her best to appease

the heat has really worn me out

and other stuff is just up the spout 

We waited until very late in the day

as it was much to hot to run and play

today i am sad and cannot join the fun

unfortunately, i did not enjoy the afternoon run

John Wells you will be sadly missed

The shallows of the lac were teaming with small fry

today is hot, humid and despite the warnings, still very dry

the butterflies dance amongst the flowers and the grass

mad dogs and englishmen ...and our german friends

are the only people we do pass

Marc, milou and i had a tour de lac

nothing spectacular on our track

all is overcast and very grey

but warm and humid throughout the day

Again i am struggling with my hike- ku

not because there is not enough to see or do

i saw a purple heron this morning, take off in flight

for me, truly terrific, a very first time sight

Last night ..too much rock and roll

all very good fun, but far to late to impart on a stroll
