We are in the forest on the other side of the pine
Milou, me and husband of mine
precariously placed a rickety structure we saw
high above the forest floor
a complicated network tied to the trees
it did not look like it could survive even the slightest of breeze

Friday and our now regular walk
Milou has a buddie for a run, i have a buddie to talk
their are beautiful reflections on the lake
i have my new camera, images for my blog to take

Thursday, 9 January 2014

Thursday and we take another favourite tack
down to the courts in a large circuit and back
the cochon noir are foraging for food to find
with rolling hills and mountains, a magnificent scene behind

Wednesday, 8 January 2014

The mountains this late afternoon are tipped in pink
a sunny day tomorrow looking at the mountains i think
Milou and i are walking with her half husky pal
they hope to run again in february, i know they shall

Tuesday, 7 January 2014

For Milou and i there are many distractions
i am responsible for all of her actions
i have found a whistle, it seems very good
she can be distracted from what she is doing, and not misunderstood

Monday, 6 January 2014

we are up high above Monleon on the mountain fells
just sheep and melodious sounds of their bells
on the edge of a beautiful forest covered in pine
reaching out over the ridge in a beautiful thick line

Sunday, 5 January 2014

The mountain stretch are later cloaked in cloud
fields that have been harvested, newly ploughed
the sun is trying desperately to filter through
and around the lake, egrets, herons and ducks
bits of sky are trying to be blue
