Today it was really extra hot
there was an organised long walk by the lac
and we decided, it would be crowded, so definitely not
in the next few days it is supposed to rain
the earth is parched, so it would gain

Another lovely Friday walk, with Milou, Taj and Jan
we have not seen each other for a couple of weeks
we just talked, and they per usual ran and ran
we have had hot sunny days for the whole of the week
today was exceptional and probably reached it's peak

Thursday, 19 June 2014

I am on my tractors in various gardens
sorry Milou for this afternoons short walk, i pardon
it was still nice away from the heat under shady glades
less the noise from those grinding blades

Wednesday, 18 June 2014

Another unidentified species by the lac
this time a butterfly, very pretty and mostly black
one that i have never seen before
and to quick, other than my eyes to record

Tuesday, 17 June 2014

More butterflies joining our way
enjoying the sunshine and the heat of the day
Milou was chasing with a bounce
a leap mid-air followed by a pounce
at this point, despair you not
as she has never caught a jot

Monday, 16 June 2014

Milou puts on her sad face as i go to work
we barely have time for a shaggy dog talk
no doubt, she could tell lots of tales
especially the kittens antics across the gardens,
their various trails

We find ourself on the lake round about mid morning
as usual all of nature, from lake, hedge and grass is calling
i am fascinated by the natural history of our region
and so much variation from season to season
