We are walking this morning with my new friend,
Dominique is going to help with my french
we need a petite dictionary, next time to make complete sense
Milou and i were in good company, and it was a pleasure to walk
to practise the language and to try and talk

I guess sometimes it is okay
the day is beautiful, the view is breathtaking
but tonight, there is nothing new i have to say

Thursday, 15 May 2014

We are well into the middle of the month of May
after the threat of hail, the snow on the mountains
starts to fade away
we bump into Elvira and Alice on their own
they turn around with us, together we walk, before heading home

Wednesday, 14 May 2014

These last three days, the french typically call Saint Glace, eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth, notoriously cold
It has been like this for years of old
there could be hail or ice
do not plant this week is the timely advice
the weather to come later this week is warm and sunny

Tuesday, 13 May 2014

It is grey, stormy and has continually rained
we have also been threatened with the dreaded grĂȘle again
a few years back they were almost as big as tennis balls
lots of damage to houses, cars, gardens, crops and all

Monday, 12 May 2014

Milou, Marc and I were halfway round our lac
but Marc's hip was in trouble and we had to turn back
on top of that the sky had turned thunderous and grey
it is supposed to be stormy for several days

Sunday, 11 May 2014

Marc, Milou and I went to a car boot
there was a pile of old junk and nothing to loot
we tried a new walk from the car park
it was very hard to find the trail that was apparently marked
